ICT in teaching – PPP

My first finding from the course ICT in teaching is definitely how to make better and more “catchy” PowerPoint presentations (PPP). Especially, the point of not using bullet points and other suggestions from the programme was really useful, because, thinking of my own experiences of “death by PowerPoint” slides just with bullet points are just going to make you lose interest – if not even put you to sleep… Another great idea presented in the course was to use headlines to create the story of the PPP and then leave the narrative text in the comments field. I tried this out with a PPP on the topic The Power of Positive Thinking and it worked out really well. In short, the suggestions from the course certainly helped me focus more on creating a visual presentation with hardly any text, as the text is spoken by the teacher.
