How low can you go?

A survey commissioned by the British department store Debenhams came to the result that the level of men’s waistband has a direct connection to his age: the older, the higher up, and the younger, the lower the trouser waistband. A spokesman of Debenhams was quoted in The Guardian to have said that the hardest task was to persuade men to realise that their waistbands had risen, since, as he further said, “men still prefer to assume that their trousers no longer fit because their legs have suddenly grown”. Well, if that isn’t an interesting way of looking at things…
